day ninety two

Today was crazy hair day at school. Thomsons have dominated this event all the way through Bailey, Taylor and Jacki's elementary days. This is our very last one since Jack will be in middle school next year! Here is what we came up with...

Toni was out of town so Coco asked me to do her hair too. We decided to make them the beverage cousins. Then much to Toni's dismay I let them have some coke and rootbeer for breakfast. I mean it only makes sense!

Tonight was the cheer banquet because somehow while I blinked 10 months have passed! I can't believe the season is over, and by season I mean an entire year. Bailey received the award for most energy. Coach Thomas said, "Sometimes she even has too much energy". What?! Who knew?

day seventy five

My eyes are still swollen shut from yesterday but I pried them open so they could see Pace at his first track meet of the season. I love watching him run!

Here, my friends, is the fundamental difference between boys and girls when a picture needs to be taken.

What a beautiful stride he has coming off the final straight of the 400. That is one very brutal race!

day thirty six

We went to the Liberty basketball game tonight to watch Boo cheer.

 Just look at that amazing jump!

Guess who showed up at the game????? COUSINS!!!!!

Pace in his usual state of coherence this time of night...

Jacki roamed around and sold an entire box of chocolates (for her Astrocamp fundraiser) during this game. Cousins came and chocolate was sold. A perfect night!

day nine

LHS cheer competition is today!! Here they are right before they went on. They were all so nervous!

This picture is blurry but I loved it nonetheless.

Look at this fabulous group of supporters that came out to cheer for Bailey today. She is one loved girl.

They didn't get a bid for nationals today. Bailey was super disappointed. She got a love from her dad though to make her feel better.

Speaking of Paps... He raced round #1 of the WORCS series in Taft, CA today. It was muddy and cold but he did great. His bike even killed at the starting line and he still managed to pass half the people in his division. Well done!

My husband is really so very cool. I can't believe he gave me the time of day.

three hundred thirty nine

Liberty High School made it to the state championship game! Very exciting for them. They played Bishop Gorman. 

Here is the signature pose minus half of the equation. The game was fun but it just isn't the same without Abby. The fact that she's moved is like a constant gloom now in our lives. We miss our Toomanys more than words... especially on days like today.

The game was played at Sam Boyd Silver Bowl. It was fun to sit in fancy seats and watch the game played on a fancy field. 

We got killed... 62-21. Oh well... the cheerleaders did great performing out on that fancy field!

Everyone came over after school today for waffles.

Tonight was the last football game of the regular season. The cheerleaders did their halftime performance and for once I got a picture that wasn't blurry!

At the end of every game they assemble and do a cheer thing. I love to watch it!

These two decided to donate their time to the Bass Elementary Halloween carnival. Taylor will be passing off some goals in her Personal Progress tonight!

The homecoming assembly was today so of course Kathryn and I snuck in to watch! The cheerleaders did their routine and it was fabulous! Afterwards we assembled some of our peeps for a group picture.

Bailey is a base and look how high they threw G. It's so fun to watch!

This is me trying to stand like Bailey. First of all, I can't bend that far or I will face plant. Second, I don't have the facial expression down. Third, Pace thought he was too cool to even try. Fouth, I AM TOO COOL!!!!

The cheerleaders got these cool homecoming jerseys to wear to the game. I was of course complaining that I had to pay for yet another cheer item but just look how awesome they turned out! I loved them!

Taylor invited her friend Sasha to go with us to the game. They had so much fun together!
