three hundred thirty one

We went to the dry lake beds today. I LOVE this picture of Pace. I would like to give myself credit for its coolness, however, I didn't take it... Bailey did.

Here is the leader of the dry lake beds.

See those oh so cool goggles Pace has on? They are the Christmas miracle goggles!

No need to ride your 450 Jade. Just keep spending all your time on the 50. I swear he rides this motorcycle more than his own! It's his most favorite motorcycle.

And here are two more grown up kids riding a teeny tiny 4-wheeler. What is the obsession with the small bikes??

Jacki got some serious riding time in on the Yamaha today

See that silt that is ALL over the bike and ALL over Pace? Although this picture looks pretty cool to the naked eye... when I look at it I see loads and loads of wash.

Jessi loves to go with us to the dry lake beds. She has so much fun she sleeps for a solid week after.

day fifty two

We decided to go to the dry lake beds again since we didn't unload the trailer from last weeks adventure. The weather was absolutely fabulous and the cousins came, which of course is even more fabulous. I decided to try my hand at taking portrait pictures while we waited for dad to go back to get our helmets (which we left home). Oh my goodness my children are cute!!!!

I decided to take some action shots of Pace. He is getting way too comfortable on his bike now. There are now TWO wheels off the ground!!!

I dig the exhaust fumes and the dust trail coming from his back tire... so cool!

And of course my lovely husband on the 450 getting some serious air.... he's totes cute on his bike! We actually left right after this shot when it occurred to him that he didn't have on his helmet!

These other people came (friends of Jamie's) that had these "Tangled" lantern things... they turned out to be pretty cool.

I was waiting for Taylor to do a big release thing when she instead put it on her head. I'm dying laughing! She informed me that she wanted to try it on as a chef hat. Oh Taylor... what would we ever do without you and your fantastic imagination?

Jade helping Bailey with her release...

.....aaaaaaand the release!

This trailer has transported motorcycles, 4-wheelers, doodle bugs, dogs, kids, etc.

These two ding bats thought they would ride like this all the way to the dry lake beds. They made it as far as Amigo (just outside the subdivision) till they had to relocate to the front of the truck.

day forty seven

We went to the dry lake beds today with the cousins to ride. Oh my gosh we had SO much fun!! The weather was beeeeeeutiful and the company was deeeeeelightful.

Taylor Ann tearing it up!

How in the world do you get that mop in a helmet??

Oh PayPay... I love you too!!!!

This is the pre-ride lecture that is customary and necessary with each ride.

See that dirt on Jack's pants? She just crashed the motorcycle and because she's not a quitter she got right back on and rode!

 Parnelli Jade.

Boo cruising on the 80

I am loving riding Jade's 450! It was so much fun! I may or may not have tipped it over while out for a spin today. I must have neglected to get the pre-ride lecture.

Jacki spent some serious time on the 50 today. I still see remnants of her wrecking in the silt.

Pace is getting much more comfortable on his 125. He was all over the place today. If, however, he ever pops a wheelie like his dad... I will seriously ground him for life. I hate wheelies. Two wheels on the ground Pace... two wheels on the ground.

This 4-wheeler is what Taylor spent her day on. She did some serious laps!

Yes, Taylor... I'm still taking pictures.

Getting ready to go out riding takes an obscene amount of work. Jade and Pace have been at it for 2 days now.

Attempting to take a family picture, but everyone was more interested in what Jessi was doing.

Ok, eyes up finally...

Aaaaaannnnd.... one more for the road!
