Jacki noticed that her tooth was "slightly wiggly".

TAYLOR GOT HER BRACES ON TODAY! This is a big deal. No one in our family has ever had braces (including mom and dad). Taylor is the very first! Here is the before picture.

And here is the gorgeous after picture!!! I can't believe how good she looks in braces! Oh and Jade's going to need to get a second job.

Everyone had teeth cleaning after school with Mandy. Days with multiple dentist appointments are always mayhem. Here my team is trying to trick Mandy into believing they brush regularly.

two hundred seventy eight

 Jacki had to have a tooth pulled out today at the dentist. She was so nervous! 

Here she is "trying" to smile after her mouth was so numb she was drooling...

Having a little rest on the way home to recover from all that trauma! 

And here is the final product TaDa! She's all happy now because she heard that if a dentist pulls out a tooth the Tooth Fairy pays a little extra money!

two hundred forty six

We ran a couple more errands today. Let's just say letting Jacki drive me around Hobby Lobby in a wheelchair was not the finest idea I've ever had. Anyways, Grandma bought Taylor this super cool T for her birthday (which is next week). Taylor is redoing her room and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Speaking of the crazy wheelchair driver... guess who lost a tooth today?! She worked on this molar the entire day. It finally fell out right before bed... just in time to write a quick note to the tooth fairy and leave her tooth under her pillow.

 Pace is having entirely too much fun at scout camp!

Bailey had an orthodontist appointment today. She walked in and found her name on the birthday board. Then he told her she only had to wear her retainer at night! Best birthday present ever!

We headed over to Grandma's house to swim with the Too-many's. They loaded all the chairs in the pool and then floated around on them with the noodles.

Jacki lost one of her "vampire teeth" today. She's been working on wiggling this one out for a while now. She was determined that it HAD to come out today. She was freaking out that it would fall out while she slept and she would swallow it. 

 

Later that night..... She decided to clean it before presenting it to the Tooth Fairy and it fell down the drain in the bathroom sink! Of course Dad stepped up and took the drain apart at 10:00 at night so she could put it under her pillow. Father of the Year nomination.

Dad is a sucker... just sayin. 

Here is one very relieved and happy Jack with her tooth safely under her pillow anxiously awaiting the Tooth Fairy!

Nighty night! Hope the Tooth Fairy remembers to come tonight.....

one hundred thirteen

Martha showed up this morning with some Snap Dragons and Lantana plants! It was "take your child to work" day so all the girls were home in the morning. We all helped plant the flowers. It was such a beautiful day!

The retainer is here!!! She put it on and immediately had a lisp. We had a great time mocking her all night long!

There just aren't enough adjectives to describe my love for this picture. Bailey tried to forbid me from posting it to our journal. Hahahaha!! Not happening.

Track meet day again! I just love these jumping pictures. Pace is a serious jumper and his skills have come in handy when it comes time to warm up for a race! Here he is getting ready to get in the blocks for the 200 m.

Why is everyone gathered around the counter you ask??  Mandy came over later after the track meet to come with me to pick up VickiJo from the airport. She decided (based on yesterdays teeth cleaning) to have an impromptu waterpic 101 class. Hopefully they'll retain some of this information so their teeth won't be so foul!!

One of my best friends from college is a dental hygienist. Mandy has been cleaning the Thomson teeth for many years now. She should get a raise... I've seen how they brush. Just sayin.
