We actually went to the strip tonight. I was like a regular tourist driving down the strip while Bailey hung out the window and took pictures (in the rain). The lights really are pretty amazing. Perhaps I should go see it more than twice a decade... Nah.

Here's the best part. We went to the ABC store (named after the cheer clinic I'm sure) and scored these cool Jerusalem cruising sandals, otherwise known as Jandals. You'll notice an empty pair... those are to represent Taylor who we missed terribly and was in Cedar at the time :(

two hundred one

We decided to go to Inside Out for FHE tonight. It was so good and I have some news... wait for it... I stayed awake during the entire movie! All of the team was so proud of me. Anyways, we had the theater to ourselves. When this happens we have a tradition that the kids go stand in front of the screen and then run laps around the theater. Don't ask me why. It's just a Thomson thing. 

Pace and Bailey were so proud of their new shoes that they took pictures themselves and instructed me to put them in Picture of the Day. Sure thing weirdos. Here they are...

day ninety six

Today Bailey finished her project that she started during General Conference yesterday. She got an old pair of Vans and decoupaged a map of Utah onto them!! She made sure all the important places were visible, e.g., Cedar, Park City, BYU and a temple. How she comes up with these random crafts is unbeknownst to me. I think they turned out SO cute! Bailey is a crafting machine. She's been professionally crafting since she was tiny. I never get sick of her projects... the messes yes... the projects no.
